Frequently asked questions about eSIM
Is an eSIM more expensive than a regular SIM?
No. Our eSIM costs ₪25, exactly like a physical SIM card, and the plans are the same.
What happens when I change phones?
An eSIM is tied to the device it was activated on. When moving to a new phone, contact the carrier for a transfer; it may issue a new activation code.
Can I use an eSIM and a physical SIM together?
Yes. Most supported phones allow two active lines at once, for example a personal line and a work line.
Which devices support eSIM?
iPhone XS and later, Samsung Galaxy S20 and later and the Z series, Google Pixel 3 and later, and most new models. The exact check: in the phone settings under "Cellular" there is an "Add eSIM" option.
Can I go back to a physical SIM?
Yes. You can order a physical SIM card with free delivery; moving the number to it is arranged with the carrier.
Can I use the eSIM abroad?
The Israeli eSIM is for use in Israel only. It does not work abroad.
What is an eSIM, in short
A SIM card that is already inside the device
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM built into the phone. Instead of inserting a plastic card, you activate the line with a QR code from the device settings.
No need to open the SIM tray and no waiting for delivery. After payment you receive the activation details, scan, and the line appears on the device.
An eSIM is also friendlier to the environment (no plastic or packaging) and safer, because it cannot be pulled out of the device like a regular card.
Check that your device is supported, choose a carrier and a plan, and within minutes the line is active.
